OOTD

On my channel me and my friends usually only post challenge videos, however today we thought we'd do something a bit different. We filmed an Outfit Of The Day video and you can view it here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hECGdLvnR48

Metallic and Pink Half Nails

Between revising maths I thought I'd do something to take my mind off Trigonometry and paint my nails!
(I'm no professional, trust me.)
I used a peachy colour by Urban Outfitters (retails at £6) called 'Bellini' as the first coat. Once this was 100% dry I applied some sellotape on the part of the nail I wanted to stay the original colour. I painted the area of nail without sellotape a metallic silver by Urban Outfitters called 'Silver'. I love Urban Outfitters nail polish, I have quite a collection and all of them dry super quick! Once the silver was dry I gave them a final coat with the top coat, also from Urban Outfitters.

This has got to be one of my favorite nail designs, and also one of the easiest! I feel it looks way harder to do than it actually is, give it a try!

Unif Moody's Style Sunglasses?

For my first post I've decided to do a review on the new sunglasses I received today.

I purchased these cat eye sunglasses HERE on eBay on June the 2nd for $17.50 (£11.23). They took 9 days to get here and for something that was dispatched from the US I find that a pretty quick delivery time. Ever since the Unif Moody's were available on the Unif Clothing website I've been eager to buy them, but living in the UK means the sun is hardly ever out so spending £35 (+postage) on an accessory I'll only wear a couple of times didn't seem worth it. I saw a pair very similar on Urban Outfitters but they were sold out so I went and searched the web and came across the pair I received today.

They came packaged in a small cardboard box filled with polystyrene curls, ensuring they wouldn't get bashed about. For the price, I was amazed to see that they were such good quality. I've brought sunglasses from places like Primark before and when holding them could feel that they were cheaply made. These feel very strong and durable so I won't mind throwing them into my bag.

I am disappointed I can't afford the real thing right now, but I'm sure I'm going to invest in the clear pair of Moody's as soon as I have saved up! But for now, these will have to do!

New beginnings...

I've never really done anything of this sort, apart from the occasional Tumblr post. So excuse me if this blog is awful.

I'm just about to finish my GCSE's so I'll have lots of free time so thought why not make something productive? I have a Youtube channel where I do challenge videos with my friends which you can find here...

I'm hoping to update this as much as I can, so I'll look forward to you reading my blog.

Thanks, Hollie x
